CONSECRATION SERVICE—Office of the Bishop

For 35 years, Pastor Macklin has dedicated his life to God in the service of ministry in the capacity of Senior Pastor of Saint Paul Baptist Church (SPBC). In unity, and with deep gratitude, the members of SPBC bestowed a special, spiritual honor upon him as an expression of our love and deeply heartfelt appreciation.

We believe that in this divine honor of elevation—the recognition of our Pastor’s calling as Bishop—we all stand on the threshold of a new ‘higher calling’ at Saint Paul because of him. God has called and elevated the former Reverend Dr. Darrell Macklin, our faithful Pastor to continue to lead His people along a new divine journey of faith that will unfold as we walk with God.

And so, with exceeding joy, the SPBC acknowledge, honor and witness the divine commendation, the public elevation, the confirmation and the consecration of Reverend Dr. Darrell Macklin, Pastor of SPBC, to the divine spiritual office of Bishop. To God Be the Glory!
